Sometimes that sweet tooth can be intense and chocolate is loved by everyone in my home. So I was on a mission to have a recipe that we can all enjoy as a healthy treat! With a few bananas and other healthy ingredients, a perfect, satisfying, and guilt-free dessert is made!

INGREDIENTS: Makes 16

  • 3 Bananas, medium ripe
  • 1 large Egg 
  • 1/4 cup Raw Honey
  • 1 tsp Baking soda
  • 1/2 cup Chocolate chips (I use soy free, dairy free ENJOY brand)
  • 1/2 cup raw Cocoa powder
  • 1/4 tsp Himalayan Salt
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup Almond Flour
  • 1/2 cup whole wheat flour
  • ½ cup unsweetened applesauce
  • 2 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 1/2 cup  plain greek yogurt

Directions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
  2. In a medium bowl, add banana and mash with a fork.
  3. Add in egg, honey, ¼ cup of chocolate chips, cocoa powder, salt, vanilla extract, flour, apple sauce, olive oil, and Greek yogurt.
  4. Mix well and spoon evenly into the muffin pan (I use a silicone muffin pan).
  5. Sprinkle the remaining chocolate chips over the mixture.
  6. Bake for 25 minutes.
  7. Let cool before eating.
  8. ENJOY!
