I am so excited about this program particularly because my husband is excited about it! He is in the Army National Guard and this program is going to help keep him in shape and keep him on track for his PT tests! I love how this program will lean you out, improve your endurance, and because I will have a partner doing this with me- my hubs! So I am going to give you the goods of 10 Rounds Boxing Home workout program!

What is 10 Rounds?

10 ROUNDS is a 6-week program that super trainer Joel Freeman takes you through with 3 days of boxing training and 2 days of weightlifting each week that will leave you shredded with a sculpted physique. The boxing is based on the fundamental training pillars for fast fat-burning: power, speed, and endurance.

Each workout is broken into 10 three-minute rounds with 45 seconds of rest in between. The two 30-minute lifting workouts per week—one for the upper body, one for the lower body—focus on building strength and lean muscle. 

Before you begin the program, start with the Boxing Basics video on Beachbody On Demand to learn how to properly throw a punch. Also, watch the boxing and lifting prep workouts for an introduction to the program to help you get fired up to succeed. You can do the 5 workouts any day of the week, as long as you do them in the order they appear on the calendar. And be sure to take your two rest days a week. 

BOXING

The boxing workouts will focus on combinations of punches and footwork that build in complexity along with conditioning drills that build power using bodyweight to increase lean muscle mass, speed/agility with fast footwork that will push you into high-intensity spikes of fat-burning, and endurance to boost performance so you burn more calories faster.

LIFTING

Joel will take you through 2 weightlifting workouts each week—one day of upper body to build strength and power, and the other day concentrating entirely on lower body/legs, because every punch you throw explodes from the ground up.

  • UPPER: You will do Lift Upper Body each week to increase strength and power and help tone your triangle (chest, back, shoulders, biceps, and triceps). This is when you really hit the weights to make sure there’s strength, force, and power behind every punch.
  • LOWER: You will do Lift Lower Body each week to build your base (legs), because every punch you throw explodes from the ground up! Punching power is generated by the strength in your legs. That’s your foundation and it’s where everything starts. 

The 3 boxing days are combined with conditioning drills that help build:

1. Power by using bodyweight to increase lean muscle mass

2. Speed/agility with fast footwork that will push you into high-intensity spikes of fat burning

3. Endurance to boost performance so you can burn more calories faster. There will also be some “all-out, burnout drills” where you’ll punch as fast as you can, so you’re completely spent at the end of the round.

You can also crank up the burn by using Beachbody Resistance Loops on your legs to get your stance as strong as possible.

To keep you motivated and MOVING, every workout features music that will drive your rhythm and give you the energy to pack the most into every punch.

Joel also integrates core work into every workout. Your entire core and back will help you punch harder and faster, so you’re getting a maximum workout, every time.

I will be running a 10 round LAUNCH party group for my coach test group and my customers jumping in on the 6th! As soon as you purchase you have access- no waiting period!

What equipment is required?

-Light, medium and heavy dumbbells for the lifting portion

-12” Resistance Bands – included in your package!
-Small towel

I will be hosting a 10 ROUNDS LAUNCH PARTY prep on the 16th and will welcome the 2nd wave of participants on April 6th!

Meal plans, daily checks in and all of the motivation you could need will be provided! I love LAUNCH PARTY groups and going through the program for the first time -TOGETHER- and cannot wait to start!
