Spicy Zucchini Turkey Burgers
Hey all!! Its recipe day!! This weekend, I was over my best friend’s house in Jersey and her and her hubby made my family an awesome dinner on the grill!! Since she eats clean also, she made her specialty, zucchini turkey burgers! I never heard of doing this before, but they turned out amazing!! She was nice enough to share her recipe with me, but I’m adding my own twist to it of course so I’m not totally copying her ;)-
Spicy Zucchini Turkey Burgers
Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground turkey meat (99% lean)
- 1 zucchini sliced into 4’s
- 1 tbsp minced garlic
- 1/4 cup diced yellow onion
- 1/2 tsp cracked pepper
- 1/2 tsp Himalayan salt
- 1 tsp EVOO (extra virgin olive oil)
- 1/2 tsp Cayenne pepper
- 1 tsp ground cumin
Directions:
- Mix all ingredients together in a mixing bowl
- Make 6 patties from mixture
- Grill on medium for approximately 5 min each side or until done to your liking
- Let cool before eating
Perfect to eat with sweet potato and grilled veggies!!
