Week 1 of the Ultimate Reset

It has been 5 years since I completed my last 21-day Ultimate Reset so I decided my husband should join me and we can get into healthier habits and let go of the old habits that are leaving us feeling tired, bloated, and not at our best health! We are at the end of Phase 1 of the Ultimate Reset and so ready to continue this journey!

I was so nervous about starting this because we went away for a day twice out of state and which included a lot of time on the road and then my husband was going on another trip. But I also realized that there is no “perfect” time to start this detox so why not do it when it isn’t as convenient so we can make this a lifestyle?! I have been on strict nutrition plans before while traveling, but those habits kind of got away from me. But I am excited to get them back!

Nutrition is KEY

Nutrition really is key when it comes to reaching your weight loss and fitness goals! It is also the top reason why people aren’t at their goals because it takes so much dedication and self-discipline. We have temptations all around us and the only way to crave healthy food is to fuel your body with those foods and then your taste buds will change according to what you feed it!

So meal prep is serious in this house! I always love meal prepping, but this is bringing me back to when I was at my ultimate goal weight/size and really consistent and strict with my food prep!

I initially thought I would be starving throughout the day, but really, I am fueling my body with tons of foods and nutrients so I have not really had the actual “hunger” feeling!

Now that I am on point with nutrition, I feel such a huge difference! And just FYI, the foods I am eating are giving me the energy I need to get through the day and even continue low impact workouts! Today was my last day of my home Barre workout and I will continue doing more low impact workouts as I follow this detox!

RESULTS for Phase 1:

For Phase 1, I lost 6.6 lbs and my hubby lost 5 lbs!

I am so excited to see what I can bring to this next phase as my husband and I enter Phase 2 and to see the changes we have with our body, mind, and spirit!
