I had the opportunity to attend my first LIVE Barre workout when I was at my Leadership Retreat in Scottsdale, AZ and it was an awesome experience! When my company decided to add the Barre into our Netflix of workouts, I was more than excited because I know there are a lot of yoga lovers who will enjoy this program and the results just as much as myself!

Beachbody on Demand barre workouts are coming soon! Barre Blend is a low-impact, high-intensity program developed to help you burn fat and create long, lean muscles. 

WHAT IS BARRE BLEND?

Elise Joan, from Beachbody’s 3 Week Yoga Retreat, developed a brand new program combining barre, low-impact cardio, and Pilates. This 60-day program focuses on building a “dancer’s body” with a defined core and firm, lifted backside. You’ll work out 5 days a week, and just 30-40 minutes a day!

WHAT IS INCLUDED?

Here is exactly what is included when you get started with Barre Blend!

  • 2 Prep Workouts- Two prep workouts—20-min Classic Full Body Blend and 20-min Cardio Blend—will introduce you to the program so you can get started right away
  • 40 unique workouts. The program is broken down into 4 phases, with 5 workouts each week. Elise changes up the moves and level of difficulty every 2 weeks, so you keep seeing results.
  • 5 bonus “10-minute enhancement” workouts that target specific parts of your body for extra toning—like core, upper body, lower body, and booty—by adding a 10-min enhancement at the end of any workout. (There’s also a 10-min cardio enhancement workout.)
  • 3 recovery workouts. Elise created 10- and 15-min Yoga Blend workouts and a Roll & Replenish workout to help you stretch out, release tension, and increase mobility. Use these after any workout or on your rest days.
  • “I AM” Daily Motivation Cards. To promote a positive mindset and a sense of gratitude, Elise chooses a Daily Motivation Card before every workout. Choose your own card daily to receive a powerful affirmation that will set you up for your best day and keep you motivated throughout the program.
  • “Get Started with Barre Blend” video. Learn what to expect over the 60 days of the program. From the steps to get you started, overview of the workouts, a brief introduction to the nutrition plan, and much more.
  • 4 “Barre Basics” videos. Elise wants you to be able to jump right in. That’s why she filmed these 4 introductory videos— Establish Your Space, Pilates Basics, Barre Blend Signature Moves, and Ballet Terminology— to demonstrate the moves and terminology you’ll see throughout the program.
  • Barre Blend Introduction to Nutrition video. Elise walks you through the nutritional tools and solutions recommended with this program to help you achieve your best results.
  • Beachbody Guide to NutritionNutrition is key to getting your best results, and this guide helps you upgrade your eating habits with delicious recipes and useful tips to optimize your performance and fuel your body.

WHAT EQUIPMENT IS REQUIRED?

Just 1-5 lb. weights. Beachbody Resistance Loops and Barre Socks are optional. No ballet barre required. You can use any sturdy household object at the right height (such as a chair, sofa, countertop).

WHO WILL LOVE BARRE BLEND?

People needing a low-impact program that’s easy on the joints. Barre Blend is a perfect program for someone who doesn’t want high-impact workouts. Elise will help you burn calories and tone your whole body with low-impact yet high-intensity exercises.

✨ People who want a lean, toned body. Barre Blend uses dance-inspired movements to shape and tone your entire body. Combine that with light weights and dynamic cardio intervals, and you get a high-energy workout that feels more like fun than exercise.

✨ Anyone, at any fitness level! Since it requires no dance experience, Barre Blend is a great workout for new exercisers or people who are just getting back into fitness. And if you’re more advanced, you can choose heavier dumbbells, add Beachbody Resistance Loops, and follow the intensifier, who makes the moves more challenging.

✨ People who want an efficient workout so they can get on with their day. Each workout is just 30 to 40 minutes long, so it’s not a huge time commitment … especially since you don’t have to commute to the studio! Press play, sweat it out, and get on with your day!

HOW DO I GET STARTED?

If you are ready to start your journey with me as your coach, I will be hosting a first-timer BARRE TEST GROUP so you can be one of the very first transformations with this program starting January 6th, 2020!! This is NOT far away and the sooner you jump on this, the sooner you can prepare for a successful start to the new year!
